My pet sitting business was actually Teddy's idea. He hated going to the boarding kennel, which I thought was an absolutely beautiful place. I believe they did their best to care for him, but he is used to a lot of love and attention in a quiet, structured environment. Many dogs are. Rat terriers are very emotional and easily stressed. And so, after several traumatic visits, I opted for a pet sitter. I discovered that pet sitters are busy people and it was not always easy to find someone, even infrequently, to care for Teddy. That is why "Pet Sitting by Diane" was started.
